Bio:
Joe Pollock is an educator, artist, and designer living in Wisconsin. Joe currently teaches Art and Design at Lakeland University in Plymouth, Wisconsin.
Joe's research interests include design thinking strategies for student learning in art, design, and new media. To improve his design thinking knowledge, he recently finished a second master's degree at Kent State University in User Experience Design. His work in this area centered on user research and interaction design.
Joe is also a new media artist. His artwork comprises digital drawings, paintings, and films. Besides developing his new media and design portfolio, Joe also draws and paints traditionally.
